“Anaganaga” — a Telugu phrase that means “Once upon a time”.

Back in the year 1888, when India’s railway network was growing, construction was happening near Lonavala, a small hill station in Maharashtra. The workers there had to toil long hours, even in the heavy rains of the monsoon season. They needed something simple, healthy, and energizing to keep going.

That's when an idea was born — a snack made with jaggery and peanuts.
